This driving cab fixed equipment used by the train driver and crew consists of:
Ø FM1200 digital signalling radio transceiver (transmitter and receiver). Configured as Locomotive Radio Unit (LRU) and designed for use on trunked mobile networks. Programmed with a Unique Radio Identity number, URID code.
Ø A radio control head, with custom LCD super twist and illuminated keypad for dialing.
Ø Two piece telephone style handset and cradle, with Press To Talk (PTT) button.
Ø 10 Watt loudspeaker.
Ø Low profile protected antenna (aerial) suitable for limited height & high vehicle situations and for high-pressure vehicle washing.
Ø Power Supply Unit (PSU) 110Vdc or 24Vdc, which meets the traditional RIA rail standards.
Ø Ancillary connection cables and leads (from stock or custom built).
